Rena Greek later to become Rena Mero was the second oldest of four children.
While in childhood she demonstrated a considerable interest in sports
and athletics. She participated in gymnastics and softball and loved football.
When she turned twelve years old, she began entering and winning beauty
contests. This led to opportunities in modeling and she was offered jobs
for Pepsi, Guess Jeans and Loreal hair care products.
In 1994 she married professional wrestler Marc Mero and then landed several
guest starring roles on shows such as First Wave, Relic Hunter and MTV.
She hosted VH-1 programs and also appeared on nightime talk shows such as
Howard Stern, NBC's Tonight Show, David Letterman, Larry King Live,
Regis & Kathy Lee, and ABC's Politically Incorrect.
Rena has one child, a daughter 'Mariah' and spends much of her time with
family and friends in Orlando Florida. Her hobbies include kick-boxing,
cooking, horseback riding, motocycles, jet skis weightlift training.
Rena is now involved in writing a book, making her first feature length
film and is planning other non-wrestling television projects.
Rumors on Rena returning to the WWF are said to be false. This is quoted
from Renas weekly letter from the week of July 18, 2000. "I have received
a lot of mail about rumors about me returning to wrestling. Let me say
that I have always said "Never say Never." I am working on other projects
but who knows what the future holds."
